  I loved this little piece of protection for the entire first year of my phone’s life. However, after a fall from my hand to concrete, my phone was scratched and chipped and the case cracked in the same place. Silicone is tricky… as a whole it is very protective. It forms a subsantial barrier against minor surface scratches and nicks. But after a crack in the barrier, the entire area surrounding the crack is compromised. It’s hard to explain, but after the fall, and the crack in the rubbery case, the skin is completely useless. I am now using a leather sleeve from Sena and I enjoy it much more because I am able to see the wonderful curves of my 8800. It’s also better looking - it’s white leather.

  The good news: the skin did protect my phone from breaking into many pieces, but I doubt it would have done that even if it would have fallen unprotected onto the concrete. More than anything, this skin is “cool.” I had a Naztech case that actually fit the device with the rubber skin on it, but you might not be so lucky with your favorite case.

  I finally replaced my Blackberry battery after two years. Forgot how good these batteries actually are. Kept my old one as a backup but found I don’t really need it. Can go all day without charging for the most part — and I use my phone a lot!

  Works great - seems to hold a charge longer than the original which came with the smartphone. Vendor was super-quick.

  I bought from these guys and i got a great battery which came on time and i got it for cheap and yes the battery holds a excellent charge!!

  The battery did not work at all. It had a slight bubble hump on the pack. It was unfortunate because I needed it before a trip I was taking. However, I was able to get another one from the third party that sent it and then returned the bad one back a day before I had to leave.

  When I bought my blackberry, my battery lasted for 2 days of intensive use. It went like that for a full year and then in a matter of a week or two my battery life halved, I could only get a day out of it of not so quite an intensive use. I was delighted to see that Amazon offered a new battery at what seemed a very attractive price, in comparison with what a cell store would charge. However, after using this battery that I purchased from amazon I get the same sort of medium sized day that I get with my old battery. This leads me to conclude that the vendor is recycling used batteries as new ones. It is cheap, but it is not new. If you don’t have a battery at all get it. If you want to replace your old battery pay the $40 at a cell store and get the really new one.

  I wasn’t overly joyed when I received my BB 8820 to realize that the door on the back likes to creak while you’re typing. I looked for a case to cover the back to alleviate this annoyance and to also protect the phone. The Cozip case looks, feels, fits very well and I will definitely be buying an additional case in a different color. All I need now is a screen protector. Great product at a great price. Shipping was only 3 days from CA to PA.

  This is a great case for the 8800. Fits perfectly, high build quality, great feel of the materials. It is a little harder to get off and on than the dime-a-dozen rubber cases, but that can be a good thing. It looks much better and doesn’t make the phone too thick to fit in a belt case. I hardily recommend this case.
